Its spring, and I'm sure most of us already know what to wear this season (just in case you don't know, then you can check out my spring lookbook here:).
We all know that springtime is all about wearing fun floral and polka dot print, switching from winter sweaters and coats to bardot tops, midi dresses & denim shorts & skirts - but the question that remains is, what are the perfect shoes to wear this spring?? In this article, I'll show you some it-shoes that will go hand-in-hand with your spring outfits:
1. Sneakers
If you didn't get the memo, chunky sneakers are the new it-sneakers. Celebs and fashion bloggers have been featuring their balencianga sneakers in their instagram posts, and it seems like this trend will not be going away anytime soon - especially this spring & summer. Of course, a lot of us can't splurge on Balenciaga snakears, but, that doesn't mean that we can't jump on this trend; You can opt for some Nike kicks this spring, instead!
You can wear these kicks (in any colour) with some everyday-casual jeans, a crop top & a denim jacket.
2. Slingback heels
Add a white pair of slingback heels to your shoe collection this spring! wear them with some light wash mom jeans, a white long sleeve bodysuit, a pastel blue spring coat (since pastels are the go-to colour this spring) & a pair of white slim-framed cat eye glasses.
Slingback heels will elevate your spring outfits and make you look sleek & classy.
3. Ballet flats
Be practical and stylish this Spring, in some chic ballet flats. Wear them with some light wash denim boyfriend jeans, a white cropped graphic t-shirt & accessorise with some black cat eye glasses & a beret.
There is a large selection of ballet flats available in a range of stores, with many amazing designs; you have the choice of choosing ones with straps, or ones that have floral embroidery on them - to perfectly tie in with the spring vibes.
4. Pastel pink stilettos
If you're looking for a fun and chic way to bring in some colour in your neutral spring outfits, then go for some pastel pink heels. These beauties will add instant glamour to any look.
These heels work just as well for formal evening events and weekend brunches with your pals.
