Thank you for clicking on this article, and enjoy reading it!

Today I'll be writing an article for a project called #LastBookIRead that was created by two of my friends Trish and Kara. You can find their articles and WHI accounts here.

I have never made a book review before, so I hope it'll be okay lol.

Now, lets get started!

MacKenzie Rivers, a teenage girl who seems like she has it all figured out. She's doing well in school, she has amazing friends, and her handsome ex-boyfriend is desperate to win her back. Yet, something seems to be missing from her life, and as much as she hates to admit it, that something might be Jaden Hunter.

A year ago Kenzie did the only thing she knew how to do, walk away. A tragic accident had destroyed Jaden's family and despite the way she felt, she had no idea how to talk to him anymore.

One night, the pair meets again, but will Kenzie dare to fall for the one person she's so afraid of growing close to?

✓ what are your thoughts on the book?

I adore Estelle's writing so much, it flows so well and has me hooked in from the start. I had read her DIMILY series before, so I was kind of afraid the book would dissapoint me. BUT that definitely didn't happen, at all. The romance, the drama and the twists were so addictive. I finished the book way too fast!

I must be honest that I was kind of frustrated by the end, because I was expecting at least another chapter. Personally, I thought the ending was just too open. On the other hand, I really liked how much more you knew about the male main character in this book as a reader, because I missed that in the DIMILY series.

✓ who was your favorite character?

Jaden Hunter, because his strong personality has truly inspired me.

✓ when you started reading the book, what were your predictions for the ending?

Well, I kind of knew Jaden and Kenzie would get back together, but the way it all happened really surprised me.

✓ would you read it again?

I honestly don't like reading books twice, because one, I already don't take enough time to read more lol and two, the second time will never be the same as the first. The actual, first experience (the feelings and thoughts) you have is so unique. And especially with this book, it wouldn't be fun because you'd already know the surprising twists.
