Welcome to day 8, I've come to terms that doing this daily is something that I can't seem to do. But, I will try my hardest to get back on track for the 4854854 time. Anyway, I hope you enjoy and thank you to those that have read many of my articles
What are five passions you have?
i. vintage times and things
It's no secret that I love older things. Being since my favorite decade is the 80s, most of my favorite songs and movies are from there. The style, music, film, and way of life during these time periods have always seriously interested me. It's not that I feel like I was born in the wrong generation, as a woman of color this decade is probably the best for me. Vintage things just speak to me in a way that some modern products don't.
ii. art! art!
Now let's get one thing straight, ya girl cannot draw AT all. I honestly doubt I have any form of artistic ability, but I do know how to appreciate art. I love art sO much especially the art in poetry books. I also enjoy learning about the artist themself and why they painted what they did. Its super interesting and not that useful but you know not much is.
iii. films
I've honestly become somewhat of an amatuer film critic(real shitty). I just love watching movies, and tv shows, especially well put together ones with beautiful cinematography. After I watch them I usually write done the really good parts and the really, really bad parts. Just so I know what to go back to and what not to.
iv. reading
When I was younger, the only time I read was when my teacher made us read in english class. I proud to say that I've actually started reading on my own. I've started to really enjoy a nice cup of tea and a good book.
v. music in my ears
99.9% of the time i'm listening to music. Whether I'm reading, shopping, or just walking, I always have headphones. I live my life through music and I couldn't be more happy. Music is one of my favorite things in the world.
