Cry Baby
Maybel Renee Murray

Innocent, frail young girl,
Shown the ugly of the world.
She experiments and loses her hope,
the innocent girl was becoming less frail,
as she drank the poison that messed with her head.
Her daddy left her with the burden of his life.
This young girl once innocent is now 17,
exploring her mind and her body.
Late nights, short days, failing classes,
Because of her demanding craze.
She wakes up with the sun in her blue eyes and a pill her hand,
whats next? A needle and a rubber band?
No plan to fix what she has done to her peers,
They watch and sit looking at her with heavy tears.
She finally gets proper aid, but deep down inside,
there will always be that sense of being afraid.
