Modern Greek Gods pt. 1 on We Heart It

While writing this article I had so much fun imagining the gods in our times and therefore a small article with just some pictures got a lot larger. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. 😊

This idea came to me after my last article, where I talked about the Greek goddesses and tried to include facts that don't a lot of people know. ✏️

MODERN GREEK GODS

Hestia

Goddess of the hearth, the family, the home, and the state.

loves campfire songs
kind and caring
amazing cooking skills
brings cookies daily to an orphanage
the orphans call her "Mommy Tia"
always thinks about others first and tries to help
often oversleeps
loves candles
likes to tell bedtime stories
has a cat
can't live without coffee
has an old soul

"Staying in, drinking tea and reading a good book by the fireplace, is heaven to me."

Demeter

Goddess of the Harvest and Agriculture and ruler over the fertility of the earth.

loves to be outside
never buys bread but bakes it herself

always ready to fight for her rights
is in no way capable to physical fight someone

Dionysus

God of grape harvest, wine, of ritual madness and fertility.

always has bad ideas
often gets into trouble
sarcastic
swears a lot
bipolar

Apollo

God of Music, Art, Archery, the Sun and Medicine.
