Little Ways To Help Homeless Animals on We Heart It

As a person who loves animals more than people, this topic touches my heart very deeply and is very important, as it should be to us all.

Animals are at risk of natural disasters out in the streets. Some are treated badly, most are hungry and some are hurt.

Here are little ways you can help make big change in their lives ♡

DON'T ASSUME SOMEONE ELSE WILL HELP

If you see an animal in need of help, don't just stand there do something. Call for help if it's in danger. Don't wait around for all the things i'll be listing below. If we all think the same way, no one will help.

ADOPT IF YOU CAN

There are people who prefer paying hundreds of dollars for a cat/dog. But don't forget that there are so many shelter animals that deserve and need a warm loving home too.

VOLUNTEER

If you can't adopt you can always volunteer at an animal shelter. They need so much help over there and a lot of tasks to do. Plus helping all those animals will make you feel so positive and happy!

DONATE

Every penny is a need. 1 dollar, 5 dollars, 10, 20, 50...doesn't matter. The shelter needs these donations to provide food, home, toys, health production etc.

HELP FROM HOME

Every month I go to the supermarket to buy cat/dog food and walk around to feed them. You can bring them leftovers or food that you're gonna throw away. You can bring them blankets that you don't use. Pretty much anything they will need.

FOSTER (TEMPORARY HOME)

If you know someone who wants a pet you can always open your home. Who knows maybe you'll get use to these cute little animals so much you will want to keep them.

LOVE

The most important thing. Love them. Make them feel special. Teach little kids how to act towards them. People often forget that animals have feelings too.

BE RESPONSIBLE

If you want to own a pet, you should know the responsibilities it comes with. Animals aren't toys. It's like giving away a kid because you cannot take care of it. Most importantly, IF you can't take care, never throw them out on the street. Take it to a shelter or search for someone who would want to adopt.
