I'm by no means an expert but sometimes I am at home with nothing to do and I'm just bored. Since I started doing these totally random things, I feel like less of the time I am bored!

1. WAKE UP EARLIER
You may hate me for this one but I promise you it feels so good after you get over the first grottyness of waking up. If you usually wake up at 8 am, try waking up at 7:30 or maybe later, it doesn't seem like a lot but it really helps.

2. GO FOR A WALK
But Netflix is more interesting! Right? I know how you feel but taking your dog for a walk or even if you don't have one you can just go out for a walk. If you live near some open spaces or parks, you can walk around there, on a good day it makes you feel more productive and happier.

3. LIVE EACH DAY LIKE YOU'LL DIE TOMORROW
Sounds cliche. I know but once you stop worrying about the future and think about the present, it makes everything more enjoyable, much like a car ride. If you're traveling for a really long time and the only thing you think about is your destination it makes the journey seem really long and boring but if you think about the journey and what you're doing at the moment, it makes the ride more interesting and enjoyable.

4. DO THINGS YOU LOVE!
If there's something you really want to do but you never seem to find the time or you're nervous or people have told you not to do it, DO IT. If it makes you happy and its safe, then go ahead! Bringing yourself out of your comfort zone really makes you realize how strong you are.

5. LOVE YOURSELF
Easier said than done but loving yourself for who you are and making the right choices can make your life better or worse. Was eating five doughnuts today a good choice? Probably not. Does it make you feel bad? Maybe. But they made you happy. Doughnuts in moderation people.
