Hello there!

With the start of a new season comes a feeling of a fresh start and new beginnings. Spring in particular is all about life blooming after the cold winter. Colors start painting the gray landscapes again and the sun starts shinning more brightly. This new season is a great time to get our lives organized and set some goals.

So in this article me and Jeni (@caIfrniax) will be talking about 10 ways to spring clean your life and have a fresh new beginning! Yes, this article is a collab! I will be writing about 5 ways to spring clean your life, and Jeni will be covering the other 5! So make sure to check her article after reading this one!

So let's get started!

1. Declutter

There’s a saying that goes “tidy home, tidy mind”, and it is so true. We are highly affected by our environment, so doing our best to keep it tidy and clean will make all the difference in our mood in the long run. Most of the times, we are surrounded by things we don’t need. So a good way to start spring cleaning your life and get the feeling of a fresh start is to work on our environment. Another thing you can do is move some furniture around, changing up your decor, etc to make your space feel like new again. That way, you will feel more inspired and motivated this season!

2. Clean up your bag and/or backpack

You carry them with you every single day, so it is super easy to fill them with unnecessary things that we will for sure forget about. So empty them and go through every single thing you have in there, and organize it. You will thank yourself next time you are trying to find something in them!

3. End toxic relationships

Easier said than done, but really worth it. A friend or a love interest.. they both play a huge role in our life! Surround yourself with positive and encouraging people, you don’t deserve less than that! You don’t need people who are constantly trying to put you down.

4. Shop your own closet

Take everything out of your closet and only put back what makes you feel good and amazing. Keep clothes you LOVE wearing, and those that don't make you feel good, get rid of them. By doing so, you will avoid the feeling of “not having what to wear” and you will be full of confidence every time you get out of the door, as you know you look amazing. And you may also discover some old pieces you didn't remember you had!

5. Start a healthy kick

Create a new workout plan if you are getting bored of your last one. Take advantage of the great weather and start going for a run outside. Buy new spring workout clothes, buy a cute water bottle, start attending to some new classes. Regarding food, inspire and motivate yourself with all the colorful and yummy veggies and fruits out there! If your food looks pretty, you will be more motivated to eat it! (as stupid as it sounds, it works!) Take a few more minutes to make your food look better and you will be surprised at how much yummier it tastes!
