I started to feel dizzy from walking back and forth around his dorm room. From the moment I stepped foot inside his room he stared at me without saying anything. His green eyes followed me around the suddenly small room with a slightly interested expression. "Angry!" I exclaimed, stopping in the middle of his room. "What?," he breathed out while sitting up on the bed. "You didn't ask, but that is what I am feeling!" I answered. He studied me with an unreadable expression and simply replied, "Why?"
Why? I closed my eyes and exhaled. We are dating, but you don't talk to me. "I don't know," I said as I headed towards the door, avoiding eye contact. Don't look into his eyes or you will stay. "Please don't leave," he whispered, barely audible. Reluctantly I paused and glanced back at his sorrowful demeanor. Just like that, with one glance at his face, I was stuck. He knew it too. "Give me a reason to stay," I said through gritted teeth. "You're tired," he stated. Great observation I wanted to say, but instead muttered, "You're tired too." Slowly he smiled, "Yes. So we are both tired. Let's be tired together." While licking my lips I thought about what to say. I felt flustered and tired of feeling confused about us. "Well..." I whispered as I sat down next to him on the bed. Instinctively he scooted closer to me and I tried to stay calm and collected. "Well I miss you and have a lot to tell you," he said, grabbing my hand. "Okay."

-I'm angry at pretending I could ever see you with your walls down
