i seem to be having bad days more often. i used to handle them in an unhealthy way by sulking and distancing myself, which sometimes i still do, but i am learning. i'm gonna share things i can do or control in order to make my bad days a little better. ✧・゚: ✧・゚:

  • drink lots of water- this seems so simple and obvious, but you need to treat the rest of your body well too! water can help a lot more than you expect it to. stay hydrated to avoid other health issues
  • listen to happy music- i'm so guilty of putting my 'sad' playlist on when i'm in a mood, and it does not help! make a happy playlist that you can dance to and just feel better :)
  • take care of your body- shower to relax a bit, or take a nice warm bath and just sit there calmly. make sure you are eating regularly! brush your hair and teeth, wash your face, and get healthy sleep. these simple things really do benefit you.
  • clean- sometimes it is so relaxing to just have a clean and clear area. it will definitely distress you and make you feel better. your environment matters.
  • wear clothes that make you feel good- even if it's just a hoodie and leggings, be comfortable how you like it.
  • watch funny movies/videos- a good laugh improves a lot of situations and your thinking.
  • find the silver lining- there is always a silver lining whether it is obvious, small, or personal.
