Hello and welcome back to another one of my articles. Today's article is about eating healthier to either lose weight or just have a healthy lifestyle.

It's important for people to know that dieting isn't the answer because once you get to where you want to be, are going to keep dieting? You just need to know what to eat and when to eat it:)

T I P S:
avoid eating past 8pm
Drink lots of water!!!!!!
Exercise more often!!!
Save the "unhealthy" foods for the weekend

M O R N I N G S: Wake up between 6-8am (of course depending on your work schedule and school hours) but if it is the weekend, yes you want to relax and sleep in ( I do too) but you shouldn't sleep in too much. It's important to eat breakfast everyday. It is the most important meal of the day. My healthy breakfasts are oatmeal, make a protein smoothie, have eggs, peanut butter, fruit and yogurt, avocado on TOASTED bread...

B R E A K T I M E: On your break time I would recommend eating fruits. In a small plastic bowl, put strawberries, blueberries, bananas, watermelon or any other fruits you love.

L U N C H: Usually for lunch I make myself a salad. I put lettuce, olives, bocconcini cheese, mushrooms, corn, avocado, cucumbers, and to have protein inside I add chicken. It really is an amazing salad that i never get tired of. As for the salad dressing, I put olive oil, balsamic vinegar, oregano and salt.

B R E A K T I M E:
Your next break time, I wouldn't eat much since I would still be full from my salad depending on how long its been, but for this time I would take a hand full of peanuts and snack on those. Peanuts give you energy and will help you stay full for a longer time. Of course there are many out there who are allergic so don't worry for you guys I would recommend eating crackers with hummus. It is really good and will keep you full until dinner time.

D I N N E R: Here is where most people over eat. It is important to take portions and for me that is one scoop of everything. Usually at dinner I would make chicken or fish with rice/baked potatoes/salad/vegetables. Or if I am craving pasta, i will have only one scoop because it is carbs and carbs is the worst. I usually buy whole wheat pasta and I add chicken with mushrooms inside or I'll have pasta with shrimps.

D E S S E R T: Not everyone loves dessert which is okay. I usually avoid eating dessert on week nights and save it for Saturday and Sunday's.
