Do you want to change your life for the better? Want to be happy but don't know how? You may not think so, but you can actually do this in a relatively short amount of time! Changing your life can only come from forming habits. And honestly, habit-forming is only easy if they're bad habits. But who wants to pick up bad habits? Not me! I'm here to show you the one thing I do every day that has really improved my life. I'm not a professional but i do know one thing. Do this and you will be a happier and healthier person.

Start Journaling

When I say Journaling, I don't necessarily mean "oh, that's my diary, don't read it." Journaling doesn't mean you have to write down all your feelings and deepest darkest secrets. (That would be really embarassing if someone read it!)
The way I journal is quite simple. It's not a diary at all. Every morning, write down three things you're grateful/thankful for. Try to make these three things very different from each other.

Did you see what I did there?

I write down (in no particular order) three things I am thankful for that day. One is always a person/pet or someone I love or look up to.
One is a thing, like a material possession (NO it's not selfish to write these things. It's quite the opposite.) For example, warm showers, a bed to sleep in, shoes, etc. These are blessings too, and we must never forget that.
Another thing I always write down is some gift/ability that most people take for granted. Like the ability to walk or speak or see, not everyone can do that.

In the evenings, I write down a little summary of what happened that day, usually 1-3 sentences. Sometimes, I write my feelings about it, sometimes I don't. I just write down what happened so that I can look back and remember those days. I don't want to just forget almost my entire life, that's why. It helps me enjoy my life when I have a better memory.

Lastly, I write down three mini goals that I want to accomplish for the next day. It doesn't have to be a life goal or anything big. It can be something like making a doctor's appointment, cleaning your room, or even taking a shower.Just three things that will bring you closer to where you want to be. Make these things your priority and I promise, you will feel a sense of accomplishment.

So that's the thing I do every day. I encourage you to do the same, because my life has improved so much since i started doing this. You don't need to do this exactly like me, or you don't have to do it at all. It's just something I do that has made my life better. Just have fun with it! Much love to you!!! Thanks for reading.
