Hi everyone!
As highly requested here i am to tell you something about how Italian girls do their makeup!!
If you have already read my last article you would probably know that the general key to most of the things Italians do including makeup is to keep it simple (if you haven't read the article i will link it down below).

Usually the first step would be a little bit about Skin Care but it deserves a whole article just for itself so IF YOU WANT AN ARTICLE ABOUT ITALIAN GIRLS SKIN CARE HEART THIS OR LET ME KNOW AS SOME OF YOU DID FOR THIS ONE.

Let's Start and ENJOY!

1.Skin

  • Foundation

Italian Girls want to keep their style as simple as possible, so they don't wear foundation very often but if you want to use it opt for a BB Cream which has moisturizer in it and gives a natural look. Apply it with a beauty blander in order to help the skin to absorb the moisturizer.
You can even create your own BB Cream if you want:

  • Concealer

Instead of using the concealer all over the face, apply it only on the spots you find on your face and under the eyes if you have very pronounced eye circle. Try not to use it to highlight because remember that you should maintain a natural style and with it i don't mean to fake it for example with the trend "no makeup make up look" it is not Italian style.

(Add translucent powder if you want to avoid that glow effect BB Cream gives sometimes and of course to set up everything).

2.Eyes

This is the part of the face you can "have fun" with:

  • Eye-shadow

If you want to put on some eye shadow that go for a nude one: pink, peach, beige, brown or maybe one with some soft sparkles in it, just to play a little bit with something different from natural.

Temporarily removed
  • Mascara

An extending mascara, a volume mascara, a soft mascara...you can chose any mascara you want of course if you opt for a total look "au naturelle" than go for a soft mascara with a slim, little brush, better if brown colored. I personally use a black mascara with a big brush because i like my lashes longer that they really are.

Now you would say "but you said it has to look as natural as possible" yes i know, but a touch of eye shadow and a little bit of mascara won't change your face features.

  • Eyebrows
Temporarily removed

Give your eyebrows just a little touch up to make them more defined, just try not to overdo. Follow the natural lines.

(You can use eyeliner as long as you make a really thin line).

3. Lips

Three are the options for what concerns lips that are typical Italians:

  • *Colored lip balm*: weather it has a pink or red or brown shade it will both brighten and hydrate your lips.
Temporarily removed
  • *Matte nude shades*: very soft and nude colors just give little bit of color and volume without exaggerate of course.

  • *Bold Red*: not pink, not black, not violet, i'm talking about red shades (fire red, Chanel red, Bordeaux...). YES it will change your lips but it is so Italian you can ignore the natural feature in this case! APPROVED.
