"Where's the love?" That's a question I ask myself really often. Why can't we just respect each other? No matter how expensive your clothes are or what religion you believe in or who your family is or what the color of your skin is, everyone in this world deserves respect.
I can truly understand that sometimes it's hard to understand other people's opinions but there's something called tolerance. Tolerance is the "willingness to accept behaviour and beliefs that are different from your own, although you might not agree with or approve of them."
It is based on self-control, you have to listen to somebody's opinion and accept it, without being offensive or aggressive. There are many examples for intolerance and the consequences of it. One of the examples has been the racial segregation of black and white people in america that lasted until the 1960's. A person never should be suppressed because of their skin color. Some of us learned from our history, some didn't.
But let's not give up fighting for equality, for love and for more tolerance.
