I know how hard it can be to find the right products for your skin so I thought I could share with you my everyday skincare routine. Since I have combination to oily skin, the products I use are mostly to help balance my oils, to remove makeup, and to hydrate my skin.

MORNING

First thing first, it is important to know using too many products, washing your face too many times or using strong products can lead to irritation and breakouts. For me, I like to use a light cleanser in the morning and a stronger at night to remove all the dirt, makeup, and extra oils. Remember, only you truly know what feels right and what feels wrong for your skin.

To start my morning, I will use the Oily Skin Cleanser by Cetaphil. After slashing my face with water, I use my facial cleansing brush. I apply a few drops of the product on the brush and apply it to my face. Even though it's a gentle cleanser, it will balance my oils throughout the day.

After cleaning my face, I will apply my Skin Rescue Oil-Free Mattifying Gel Moisturizer by First Aid Beauty. As it mattifies my skin, it also preps my skin for my makeup routine.

NIGHT

At night, my skincare routine is longer. For me, I like to keep my night routine simple. I tend to breakout a lot if I have too many products on my skin.

To start off, I will remove my makeup my using makeup wipes. As weird as this sounds, the Kirkland Signature Daily Facial Cleansing Towelettes are by far the best wipes (you can buy them at Costco). If I am out of makeup wipes, I will use cotton pads and the Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water, Cleansing and Make-Up Removing Solution.

After removing most of my makeup with wipes, I will now use a cleanser. At night, I love to use Origins Checks and Balances™ Frothy Face Wash. It truly removes the rest of your makeup, your skin doesn't feel tight or irritated, and it balances my dry spots and oily skin.

For me, finding a serum for oily skin was extremely hard. I would wake up in the morning with extra oily skin, and I would breakout. After a while, I discovered T.L.C Framboos ™ Glycolic Night Serum by Drunk Elephant. The serum is SO expensive, I know. I can honestly say, it's really worth it. I normally use it as a spot treatment when I have acne breakout or I use it on my cheeks to minimize my pores.

If I don't use any serum, I will use a light face cream to hydrate my skin. Always using mattifying cleansers and primers can definitely irritate and dehydrate your skin. To hydrate my skin, I love the Burt's Bees Skin Nourishment Night Cream or the TARTE Drink of H2O Hydrating Boost Moisturizer Rainforest of the Sea™. Personally, the Burt's Bees cream can sometimes feel heavy on my skin. Which is why I tend to go back and forth between the two face creams.

A FRIENDLY REMINDER: These products work really well for my skin. It might not work for yours, but hopefully, this article can help you find a few products. I've learned a lot of what I know through the people working at Sephora, youtubers, and tips from my dermatologist.

Here are a few youtube videos I used to find some of my products:
