For the ones who wear their hearts upon their sleeves,

"Doubt that stars are fire, doubt that the sun doth move, doubt truth to be a liar, but never doubt that I love." Hamlet - Act 2, Scene 2

What does love mean to you?

Love is indescribable, undefinable. Love is everything; it is infinite. Love is feather-soft kisses from your mother in the middle of the night as she re-tucks you into bed without you knowing. Love is all the times your father picks you up off the ground and readjusts your helmet, promising that you'll get it next time and he'll be right behind you as he helps you climb back onto your bike. Love is all the times your siblings teased you to no end, but raised h*ll for anyone else who dared to do the same. Love is all the times your dog laid at the foot of your bed, in your doorway, or put itself in front of you while out; always making sure to be a barrier between you and any potential threat. Love is all the hours your Grandmother spent in the kitchen cooking you a nice homemade meal, or all the times she slipped you candy when your mother wasn't looking. Love is all the times your girlfriends didn't know the words to say, but knew exactly what to do; they'd cancel their plans and all come together to have a pajama-clad, romantic movie watching, snuggled up in blankets night in with you.

Love is every single act of kindness, whether big or small.

It's every time someone held your hand and squeezed it gently as a way of saying "I've got you". It's every warm hug you've ever received that's laced with the silent words "I miss you". It's every single time someone tells you to call or text them the moment you make it home so they'll be able to breathe a sigh of relief that you made it home safely.

Why do you think we feel love?

I don't think we feel love, I think we are love. We were created by such an intimate act of love by our parents. Every kiss they shared, every 'I love you' note they wrote, every late night phone call when they stayed up late missing the other too much to sleep. All of those tender moments led to the creation of us.

Our mothers shared their bodies with us; every meal they ate, every vitamin they took, every conversation you can't remember they had with their bellies of wanting to meet you, was all for us. Love was embedded deep within our DNA from the very beginning of it all. It's the rhythmic pulse drumming beneath our skin, letting us know that we are still alive and that our hearts are pumping liquid love all throughout our veins. We need love, we crave it because it is exactly what we're made up of. Like a car that runs on gasoline, we need love to function with every fiber of our being.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

"Hear my soul speak. Of the very instant I saw you, did my heart fly at your service." The Tempest - Act 3, Scene 1

Absolutely. They say that eyes are the windows to the soul, so who is to that if they were to meet across a room for the first time they wouldn't automatically recognize their soulmate? Who is to say that even in the briefest glance into another's eyes their hearts wouldn't leap within their chest as their souls realized they found the other half of them they never knew they were missing?

Do you consider yourself a romantic person?

My heart wills me to be a hopeless romantic, for it takes delight in all things of the nature, always beating fast and fantasizing of what could be. My brain is more reasonable, though at times they are both in sync.

"It's impossible," said pride. "It's risky," said experience. "It's pointless," said reason. "Give it a try," whispered the heart.

In your opinion, what is the best part about being in love?

Everything, every single part of it.

Have you ever fallen in love with someone you couldn't have?

Never, nor will I ever subject myself to the heartbreak of an unrequited love. I refuse to allow myself to love someone who would not/could not love me back, I care about the condition of my heart way to much to ever put it in the hands of another who I knew would break it.

What do you expect from the love of your life?

Not a single thing. I don't expect anything from my soulmate other than to forever exist in my life, and love me for me until the end of time.

Do you think love can be forever?

With every bone within my body, with every drop of blood rushing through my veins, with every breath my lungs release, I wholeheartedly believe that no matter the time love will always remain.

How do you make others feel loved?

In any way you possibly can. By cherishing each and every single one of their insecurities, and instead of calling negative attention to them, showing them why each one isn't a flaw. By standing firmly by their side when they feel as if they can't stand at all. By holding every shaky hand you see, and gently rubbing circles to soothe their nerves. By just being there for someone who needs you, in any way at all.
