over the years ive took notes of little habits and tips to make yourself overall a more happy and healthy person. you dont have to do all of these, but i thought i would list some ways to take care of yourself and give yourself love. some of these ive collected from self care pages on instagram, learned from youtubers, or come up with on my own.

- tip for studying: to memorize terms and concepts, use quizlet's "learn" option. any terms that you don't understand no matter how many times you go over it, make a list of them and look them up on youtube to find videos explaining it. crash course has videos explaining science, history, government, psychology, film, and pretty much any topic you can think of. for science specifically (what i struggle with most) 2 minute classroom and amoeba sisters have great explanatory videos. a lot of science teachers also have channels

-try to go to sleep early
- do squats while brushing your teeth
- do tasks that take less than 2 minutes first
- take your vitamins
- journal all your thoughts. keep a bullet journal, a diary, creative outlet journal, etc.
- get your nails done often/ do them yourself. to save money buy glue on nails from target/walgreens/cvs, and paint and shape them to your liking for so much cheaper
- moisturize/ take care of your skin PLEASE
- meditate for at least 5 minutes a day
- drink a little diluted apple cider vinegar every morning and night. better with lemon, ginger, and cayenne pepper
- keep your room tide, pick up clothes and throw away trash so it doesnt all pile up
- wear sunscreen to prevent wrinkles
- listen to classical music to calm down or study
- dont be ashamed to listen to ASMR, it really helps to fall asleep or calm down and is really something i do often when im tired
- read books before bed instead of going on your phone
- walk upright, dont slouch
- try to use at least 10 new vocab words per week
- have a hobbyy/ passion
- shower for at least 3 minutes in cold water
- save your money
- make lists of everything. grocery lists, movies you want to see lists, things you want lists, favorites lists
- write down quotes and lyrics
- use an exfoliant or face mask only once a week
- focus on school, but not TOO much (but enough)
- get things ready and together the night before
- try to cook at least two healthy meals yourself a week
- eat fruits for dessert instead
- light candles
- drink lots of water PLEASE it has so many benefits
- on your phone, organize all your photos into personal albums, organize notes into folders, organize apps into folders as well
- always take off your makeup, especially mascara. you don't want to get a stye or gunk in your eyes
- change your sheets and pillowcases every week
- listen to podcasts and audiobooks more often
- dont compare yourself to others
- carry some form of face mist with you
- use breath mints
- watch more movies, all kinds of movies.
- take more baths
- pay attention to your surroudings
- enjoy crushes, even if you have no chance with them. theyre fun to have
- do 5 minute workouts everyday. gabriella whited has really good ones on youtube
- watch more comedy on youtube and netflix
- take echinacea to prevent colds when you first feel the signs of getting sick. in the morning, when you feel a soar throat for the first time, i usually take 4 (im 15 and 5'4 if that helps)
- talk about others less
- drink coffee/tea
- take naps
- soak up the sun and tan! (safely)
- take bike rides
- talk to yourself. it isnt as weird as you think it is.
- leave positive notes for random people in random places unsigned
- dont bite your nails
- get obsessed with something so much (in a healthy and uncreepy way) that doing it/seeing it will make your heart swell
- compliment yourself
- online shop
- do yoga
- run more
- talk to people more
- floss
- watch 50 facts videos for fun
