In my most recent (and only) article, I talked about some of my favorite makeup products you can buy at your local drugstore. In that article I only mentioned primers, foundations, and my favorite concealer. In this article, I'll talk about more products - setting powders, blushes, and bronzers.

Setting Powder

There are really only two setting powders from the drugstore that I really love. One powder is a pressed powder you can use to set anywhere on your face, and the other is a loose powder which you can also use to set your makeup, and additionally bake.

The Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder is a good powder to use for a natural finish, and keeps the skin matte all day. It is very long-wearing, and I would definitely recommend this powder for oily skin. This is also my favorite powder to use when I set my eye shadow primer.

The second powder I want to talk about (and my favorite of the two) is the Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder. This powder is a GREAT dupe for the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder (I honestly think its even better than the Laura Mercier powder). This powder comes in a translucent shade for anyone to bake under the eyes, or set the face. It does not cling to any dry patches on the skin. This powder does have a strong scent (it reminds me of kind of an "old lady smell" Lol) so if scent is something you're super sensitive to, this powder may not be for you (sorry!). However, I myself am very particular about scents when it comes to makeup, and this powder does not bother me as the scent does fade within like five minutes of putting it on.

When ti comes to bronzers, it is safer to use a matte finish than a shimmer. Shimmery bronzers begin to look less natural, and more patchy and blotchy.

The Rimmel Natural Bronzer (back) is a matte bronzer and looks very natural on the skin. It is super easy to work with and easy to build up. Even though this powder is matte, it works with any finish of foundation and keeps the skin looking healthy.

My all-time favorite bronzer from the drugstore is the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer. This bronzer smells AMAZING (like a tropical vacation) and is a super subtle application but is super easy to build up. If you struggle to apply bronzer and have problems with it looking too harsh, this product is for you!! I don;t have anything negative to say about this product and I just want to thank Physicians Formula for making my life so much easier.

I'll be honest, I haven't bought a single blush from the drugstore after trying this next product. It is the most amazing drugstore blush out there (and honestly greater than most of the high-end products), and it is something I reach for on a daily basis.

The Milani Luminoso Blush is one of the best products from the drugstore. It is a great dupe for the Nars Orgasm Blush, and gives a beautiful sheen to the skin to make you look healthy, but not shimmery. This blush is definitely one of Milani's greatest products.

Thank you for all of the feedback on the last article, I hope it was able to help some of you! I have many other ideas for more articles to write, and I am planning on continuing this Drugstore Favorites series of articles. The next article I will mention some of my favorite highlighters, brow products, and eye shadows from the drugstore. I hope you enjoy this article as much as the last one! Good luck shopping!
