So every once in a while you need to take a little moment for yourself to recover from the whirlwind of stress around you. Those days turn into self-care days (well at least for me). On these days I will:

Sleep until I feel like I'm well rested.
- Sleep is very important. If you don't sleep enough, you'll end up feeling too tired to do anything and just end up laying in bed all day.

Have my favourite breakfast.
- Lately, I've been obsessed with overnight oats. They are a nice way to start the day and you can completely adjust them to your liking. I usually just have oats with milk, a bit of honey and a dash of cinnamon. If you want to be really fancy you can add some grated apple to it. This just kicks it up a nudge.

Have your favourite drink with your breakfast.
- I love cappuccino! So this is a staple for me on self-care days. If I feel like being a bit mischievous I'll even add a little dot of whipping cream on top. To top my cappuccino I'll sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top.

Do whatever you feel like doing.
- This has various meanings. Some days I feel like staying in and watching a bit of Netflix and other days I feel like being active. Active as in doing some exercises or just connecting my Wii to the tv and hitting play on Just Dance.

Having some me-time.
This means I will be walking around the house all day with earphones in listening to music. No one can interrupt me and I will most likely be in my room all day.
Including in me-time, I do count a nice bath with a lovely wine glass filled with ice cold water. I will put on a face mask, hair mask and zone out in the bath for about an hour. After the bath, I will be reading a lovely book and just gently doze off.

I hope you guys enjoyed reading about my self-care day routine.
