there are many options to coping with anxiety, here are a few of the things that have personally helped me with my anxiety and use both my wise and emotional mind. the main thing I will be talking about is practicing mindfulness. mindfulness is being in the state of being aware.

go outside:

this can be just going in your backyard, talking a walk, going to the park. take the time to absorb the energy around you. breathe in the air and become more in touch with your surroundings.

listen to music:

bringing yourself into the moment is really important when dealing with anxiety. music is one thing that has always been able to calm me down. just focus on the lyrics, the beat, the melody. bring your attention to something else for the time being.

meditation and breathing exercises:

bringing yourself into the moment can be as simple as taking slow deep breaths. this can be so so helpful especially when you are in a situation where you can just pull out your phone and listen to music or go to the park. meditation can also be really beneficial to coping with anxiety.

drawing or coloring:

I have found that any form of art is really great for coping with anxiety, it helps you get all you thoughts and emotions and puts it all into something beautiful. it can really help you focus on something more relaxing when needed. this can be doodling in a notebook or painting on a canvas, whatever works for you!

talk to someone:

this can be a friend, family member, counselor. it doesn't have to be in person either, but talking to someone who is willing to listen about how you feel is very helpful,
