So my skin has been a mess lately. I had really bad breakouts and I was constantely stressing because I had so much school work to do. But my skin cleared up after using a skin care routine for 5 days & I wanted to share with you all how my skin cleared up.

Disclaimer!: First, just because my skin cleared up while using these products and doing these tips, doesn't mean yours will. Don't come at me with "It doesn't work" because it does, for me.

Products:

  • The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash
  • The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Mattifying Toner
  • The Body Shop Tea Tree Squeaky-Clean Scrub
  • Lush Tea Tree Water
  • Lush Mask Of Magnaminty (a face mask I use sometimes)
  • Garnier Micellair Water (to remove my make-up)
  • Nivea Care Sensitive Cream (I don't use this one anymore tho, but the cream I use now is a product you can only get where I live)
  • Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater

I know most of them are Tea Tree based, but that's because Tea Tree really works for my skin. I also know that the products I use aren't so many, but that's because I think the less you use the better it is.

Tips:

  • I've said this a thousand of times, but drink water!! It works and it's also healthy. I myself try to drink two cups of water in the morning, around 3/4 in the afternoon and another 3 in the evening. I know that's summed up 9 cups of water, which is a little more than 2 L.
  • figure out what type of skin you have. Only then will you find the right products to use for your skin. You can search on google or ask a dermatogolist.
  • Wash your hands before cleaning your skin. This is really important, because if your hands are dirty and full of bacteria, your face won't cleanse. So please wash your hands before you treat your skin.
  • Use a face mask and a scrub only once a week. Some people use them every day but that's not healthy for your skin. Your skin needs time to 'recover' from a face mask or scrub. So don't use them every day or three times a week or something like that.
  • Exercise. Exercising often can help assist in keeping your skin healthy. When we sweat while exercising, our pores are open and toxins in your skin kind of dissapear.
  • Last but not least, acne is normal and honestly I think it isn't even that bad. I've really sensitive skin which is why I want clear skin, because acne simply hurts by me. I don't want clear skin because I think it's ugly, because it isn't. Acne can be beautiful too. But if it makes you insecure, then sure try to clear your skin up. As long as you're happy in your own body. You don't need to have clear skin to be beautiful.

I hope this helped you a little.
Have a nice weekend,
xoxo
