I know there a lot of girls and women out there who, like me, have struggled with low confidence and self esteem. I want to give you a few tips on how to boost your confidence so you can be happier and healthier.

Wear What Makes you Comfortable

The truth is, if you're dressing to impress someone else, chances are you are going to be uncomfortable. And tell me, who is happy with themselves when they are uncomfortable? Dress up or dress down, its up to you.

Stop The Negative Self- Talk

It takes effort, but it will be almost impossible to reach your goal of self-confidence if you keep this up. When you talk to yourself, pretend you are talking to your younger self. Would you tell her that she is ugly, stupid, unlovable? If you wouldn't say it to her, then don't say it.

Pay Attention to the Good Things

Instead of spending your days moping and complaining about what you can't change, look at the things you like about yourself. Maybe you have nice hair or skin, or maybe you're a good listener, or have a good sense of humor. If you really can't find anything you like about yourself, I'm sorry you feel that way. You might find it helpful to ask a friend or family member what they love about you. Every single person has something beautiful to offer.

Take Care of Yourself

Self-care can boost your confidence like you won't believe. It can be difficult to take care of yourself properly if you're depressed, but i promise you, it will change your life. When you're tired, let your body rest. When you are sad, anxious, etc. Let yourself feel those emotions instead of pushing them aside. I made a collection of self-care ideas and tips for when you're groggy or just not feeling your self. It has helped me a lot so feel free to follow.

Hopefully these tips will help you to glow up, both physically and mentally.

Stop Comparing Yourself to Others

A huge part of gaining self-esteem is realizing that you are beautiful in your own way. The women that you see on social are media are gorgeous, yes, but that doesn't mean that you're not. She probably took 50 photos to get one she like, and even then edited the heck out of the photo before she posted it. Besides, you don't know how they look when they just wake up. The point is, you don't need to be a supermodel to be beautiful or pretty. Just be you :)
