I'm a bit late to the We Heart It article party, but here I am, fully embracing it by writing an article to present myself. Thank you for clicking on this, and please enjoy~
1. What is your favorite time of the day?
Mid-afternoon, when the sun is out and the smell of fresh air permeates the house.
I can dance wildly down the hallways and raise the music as loudly as I like without parents (or pants!) to hinder me.
I feel warm and free as I sunbathe in the joy of my own existence.
I recommend listening to, “Shut Up and Dance” by the band Walk the Moon, covered by Devin & Kyle.

2. What time of the day do you least enjoy?
When night falls and the house I was just dancing around in feels exponentially emptier.
Everyone else has returned from their jobs to enjoy dinner with their families, while I silently cook a single-portion meal for myself.
My heart aches, and I can’t stop the loneliness from creeping in.

3. What are you the most insecure about?
My underweight appearance is something I've been ashamed of since elementary school. In a family and culture that values having curves and some "meat on your bones," I find it difficult to feel feminine or sexy with my bony butt and small chest. I have tried gaining weight in the past, but at this moment, I’m just striving to become healthier.

4. What is something you're working on?
I have a deep respect for people who state their opinions, whether online or beyond the screen, despite the audience of judgement they face. As odd as it seems, I find it courageous to take a stance on a topic and be vulnerable to criticism. This open vulnerability, authenticity, and courageousness is something I am trying to cultivate in myself.
However, I have a long way to go. Right now, I can’t even raise my hand in class without my heart racing and face flushing red from the fear of being wrong.

5. What do you constantly hunger for?
I crave having candid, 2AM-type conversations with others.
Forget the awkward, icebreaker questions that are forcefully asked at the beginning to the school year.
I want to learn about people’s childhood homes and what keeps them up at night. I want to learn about their biggest regrets and what keeps them going after a long day.
Unfortunately, the people around me are fairly guarded, so I am honored when someone decides to share their innermost thoughts with me.

And that wraps up the end of this article!
If any part of this article resonates with you, then feel free to message me. I don't plan on writing anymore articles, but if you have any feedback, I'd love to read your comments.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and getting to know a bit about me!
