Recently, I've been playing a lot of games on my phone. I love to play games but often I've been super busy with school and social life so I don't have time, however these games are super fun and great to play passing time!

1. Life is Strange

This is probably my favourite game on this list. If you haven't already played it, Life is Strange was recently developed for iOS. You play as Max Caulfield, who discovers she has the ability to reverse time after seeing her best friend Chloe get shot. It's a choice-based game, depending on what options you choose the outcomes will be different, so be careful! The first episode is free on the App Store but you will be charged for episodes 4-5, but I'd say it's worth it!

2. Peter Panic

Peter Panic is a game AND a musical, combining two of my favourite things. You play a series of mini games and meet various weird characters in order to save the town's theatre. You may find the mini games a little difficult as they get faster and faster but the cute characters and songs are fun anyways. You can play the whole game for free, but if you want to save your progress, there is a fee.

3. Her Story

In this game you, the detective, watch recorded interviews and put the pieces together to solve a murder. As someone going into criminology this was a very interesting game to play. You are given very little clues and have to use key words you pick up from watching videos in order to find more videos in the data base. As you go, the story gets creepier and creepier...

4. Florence

Florence is a game with cute illustrations and a cute, if somewhat heartbreaking, storyline. It follows Florence, an aspiring artist, and the ups and downs of her new relationship. As someone dealing with a recent breakup this was very empowering and very cute! : ) It's very short but sweet, perfect to play while waiting at the bus stop, etc. It costs $5NZD on the App Store.

5. Thimbleweed Park

Last, but not least, the game I've been OBSESSING over the last few days. If you like The X-Files, Twin Peaks, or the 80s in general, you will love Thimbleweed Park. You play as two federal agents solving a murder in the town of Thimbleweed Park. It costs $15NZ but the weird and wacky characters, the storyline, and the 80s nostalgia is so worth it, and I highly recommend it.

I hope you give these games a try! Enjoy!~
