I received Mr. Hawking´s death news a couple of minutes ago. I cannot believe it, though I know he is so much better know and he´ll rest in peace forever in Cosmos.
Stephen Hawking was born on January 8, 1942. At an early age, he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and doctors didn´t think he would last long. Nevertheless, against it all, Mr. Hawking continue with his investigation works and his discoveries molded what moderns cosmology and physics are today. He´s better known for his theory about black holes and relativity. A few of his more important books are:
– `A Brief History of time´, where he offered an overview of space, time and God himself, whom he did not believed in.
– ` The Grand Design´, Mr. Hawking spoke against God´s creation idea and affirmed the Big Bang was the one and only inevitable consequence of the laws of physics.
Stephen Hawking married Jane Wild in 1665, to which three kids were born: Robert (1667), Lucy (1970) and Timothy (19799. Later on, Hawking left his wife, Jane, for one of his nurses, Elaine Mason. The nurse however, was suspicious of physical abuse and and in 2006, Hawking and Mason filed for divorce.
Stephen Hawking died at the age of 76, nearly 50 years more than he was expected. He was one of the brightest minds that had ever existed and his ideas enlightened the world. Mr. Stephen firmly believed in humanity´s advance and hoped one day technology and environment could come to a balance.
`Look up at the stars and no down to your feet. Try to make sense of what you see, and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious.´
Thank you Stephen Hawking. You will live forever in our minds and hearts.
