Hey! For my first article, I thought it would be fun to kick off with a makeup routine as I love to read them myself. The look is great for summer and enhances your natural features to achieve a gorgeous bombshell look. It features a number of my favourite products which are tried and tested!

Step 1 Moisturise
To begin with, I always moisturise my face. This is essential, otherwise your skin dries out from the makeup. I use the Clinique Moisture Surge. This is amazing for those with Dry to Combination skin types as it is super hydrating and makes your skin look super glowy.

Step 2 Prime (not essential)
I don't always do this step as I don't think it's particularly necessary half the time - however, if I want an extra glow, I do like to prime using the Mac Strobe Cream in the shade Goldlite. This is really intense, so you don't need a whole lot of it. I tend to focus it on the places that I would generally highlight. Another favourite primer of mine is the Becca Backlight Priming Filter. This creates an even base underneath foundation/bb cream and provides a hint of luminosity.

Step 3 Base
For my base, I like to use the MAC Lightful C Tinted Cream SPF30 With Radiance Booster. This is a really wonderful BB Cream like product, which evens out my skin tone and matches my face to my neck for when I have a fake tan on. It achieves the gorgeous glowy bombshell skin! It's also really helpful that it has SPF in it, as it's super important to protect your skin.

Step 4 Concealer
With my concealer, I focus it under my eyes and spot a few blemishes I may have (and highlight my T-Zone a tad). I use the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in the shade Custard. It's a cult favourite, so I'm sure most of you have heard of it. It's fantastic and is the perfect consistency and coverage.

Step 5 Set
Sometimes I actually forget this step, generally because I hate a matte face, but I also don't like to look oily. I use the Laura Mercier Loose Transluscent Powder under my eyes and around my nose, which is about where my makeup tends to break apart during the day. I don't use a lot, as that's when it starts to look cakey and matte.

Step 6 Brows
Everyone does their brows differently as we all have different brow shapes, however, all I do is line underneath the brow and fill in the sparse areas with the Revlon Colour Stay Brow Pencil in Dark Brown and then brush them up with the Benefit 24 Hour Brow Setter to achieve the bushy model brow.

Step 7 Bronzer
My favourite Step! I use the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Powder Bronzer which is absolutely beautiful. The velvety powder looks fantastic on the skin and doesn't look too orange nor too cool toned. It warms up the face and definitely appears as if you spent some time out in the sun! I use it in my cheekbones (as Charlotte Tilbury says, "follow the hollow"), around the perimeter of my forehead, the tip of my nose and I also sweep it over my eyelids to add definition.

Step 8 Highlight
A step that will tie this whole look together! I'm sure you all know where to apply it, so I'll just mention my favourite highlighters to associate with this look. One of my favourites is the RMS Living Luminiser, which is a gorgeous sheen highlighter in the form of a balm. This provides a natural 'moisturised looking' glow. I also love the Benefit Sunbeam Golden Bronze Highlighter.

Step 9 Lashes
You can use any mascara really, however, my favourite is the Benefit Roller Lash, which is a well known cult favourite. I only apply this on my top lashes, not my bottom, as when I apply this on my bottom it tends to rub underneath my eyes. Sometimes I curl my lashes before applying it, but I don't think its entirely necessary.

Step 10 Lips
And finally, to complete this look, I apply any lip balm and then go in with a lip liner a tad darker or the same shade as my own lip colour. I like to use a really creamy one, because then I am able to easily fill in the centre as well. A liner I love is a MAC Liner in the shade Soar. Lastly, I go over the top of my lips with the same lip balm as it not only adds a slight gloss, but makes my lips really plump and hydrated.

Thank you so much for sticking through and getting this far, I really hope you enjoyed reading this routine because I had so much fun writing it! I hope you gained a few ideas from it too.
