Hi everyone,

I am back with another recipe, this time it's a proper meal, not a baking recipe. :)

NOTE: This has nuts although they could probably be taken out. Soya sauce, and gluten in it.

This recipe is one my sister made in food.
Hope you enjoy it. It's easy to make too.

Superthumb Chicken

  • 1 bundle of egg noodles.
  • 1/2 onion
  • a garlic clove or 1/4 tsp of garlic.
  • Vegetables: Capsicum, carrot, mushrooms, broccoli. Anything you want.
  • 150g chicken either thighs or breast.
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soya sauce
  • peanuts or cashews enough for your taste (optional).
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds.
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds.

  • Put a pot of water on to boil. When the water is boiling add the noodles and cook for 8 minutes. Drain. Set aside.
  • Heat 1tbsp of oil in a pan.
  • Chop the onion and garlic up. Then add to the pan and cook for a minute or two.
  • Chop up the vegetables. Add to the pan and cook lightly. They don't need to be cooked properly.
  • While they are cooking chop up your chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  • Once the vegetables are cooked somewhat remove them from the pan and put into a small bowl.
  • Cook the chicken until they are a little cooked on all sides. It doesn't matter if it's a little bit raw in the middle. You don't want to overcook the chicken so it's dry and chewy. Remove from the pan once done and put into another small bowl.
  • Whisk the remaining 1 tbsp of oil, with the brown sugar and the soya sauce. Add to the pan and heat.
  • Mix in the nuts and seeds.
  • Put the vegetables back into the pan along with the chicken and heat through.
  • Mix in the noodles.
