Hot Chocolate

Made with rich cocoa powder, milk, and semi sweet chocolate, this hot beverage recipe is garnished beautifully with a dollop of whipped cream dusted with milk chocolate. Serve it boiling hot with a slice of buttered toast and indulge in the luscious flavour of this sweet beverage. It is an easy drink recipe and doesn't require much effort from your side.

Ingredients of Hot Chocolate:

  • 3 cup milk
  • 170 gm semi sweet chocolate
  • whipped cream as required
  • 3 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk chocolate


Step 1

Place a pan over medium flame and add 3/4 cup water to it, let it come to a boil. Whisk in cocoa powder and stir until no lumps remain. Next, add milk while stirring it and lower the flame and let it simmer for some time.

Step 2

Whisk in semi sweet chocolate along with sugar and keep stirring this until mixture is smooth and creamy. Make sure that the chocolate is melted and let this simmer for another 5 minutes.

Step 3

To serve, pour the hot chocolate in small cups. Top it off with some whipped cream and white chocolate, and enjoy.
