Hello everyone.

Welcome back to the 30 days writing challenge (created by @themermaidwriter). Let's talk about movies.

Day 8 - Make a list of your five favorite movies

1. Dead Poets Society

Carpe, carpe. Carpe diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary.

It's one of the best movies ever. I cried, laughed and felt so alive (yes, i meant that) while watching it, and afterward. It's very beautiful, the characters are very well done, and having Robin Williams in it makes it even more amazing.
It's also one of the movies you might wanna rewatch to get a good perspective on life.

2. ‎Inception

You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger.

This movie basically means to me "expand your perspective", whether it's in your dreams or your life. Yes, it has some romance in it, but the effects and the action are simply stunning.
Also, I just want to point out that I'm in love with this movie's soundtrack.

3. The Harry Potter series‎

It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.

I pretty much grew up with these characters. I was really invested in those movies. So much that I remember wandering around when I was in primary school with a crayon, whispering spells. It may sound cringy, but to me it's just a nice memory that I felt like a wizard for a small bit haha.
And a year doesn't pass without me rewatching at least one of those movies. And no, I can't choose a favorite one. They all have their magic in the stories.

4. Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole

Well, this is what it looks like when you've actually fought in battle. It's not glorious, it's not beautiful, it's not even heroic. It's merely doing what's right, and doing it again and again, even if someday you look like this.

This is a pretty interesting movie. I love the effects and the storyline. I haven't read the books yet, but the movie was really good. I haven't watched in in a while, but I recommend it. Also, the soundtrack includes a song from Owl City, which gives good motivational vibes.

5. The Lion King

Remember who you are.

This is one of the first movies I ever watched in my life. Then I kept rewatching it. I used to sing all the songs, laugh and cry with the characters, and highly enjoy the storyline. I love how Simba develops and learns about his identity, and from his mistakes. It's a movie that is very dear to me, and yes, again, the soundtrack is just incredible.

Of all instrumentals, this one is my favorite:

Thank you for reading!
Have an extraordinary day!
Carpe diem!
