today I share with you my tips and tricks to get long and of course healthy hair! And I think that I know what I`m talking about because my hair is now "booty" length..
Ready, let`s get started!

1. Brush your hair gently
Don`t brush your hair too often, only once a day! And only start from the bottom and work your way up when you detangle your hair; otherwise you turn small tangles into one large knot and that can cause you to lose a lot of hair!

2. Use conditioner
Every time you shampoo, use conditioner. Conditioner helps to replace the lipids and proteins inside the hair as well as to seal the cuticle to help prevent more damage from happening, so that your hair can grow longer and look healthier.

3. Don`t overwash
Never ever wash your hair daily! That can cause so much damage to your hair! It´s really enough to wash your hair every third to fourth day. If your hair looks greasy, use dry shampoo or braid your hair!

4. Do a cold water rinse
This really does help to grow your hair and keep long hair healthy! Cold water lays down the outer layer of hair more smoothly, which helps prevent moisture loss an heat damage.
You only need to do this for for a few seconds, but this can make a huge difference.

5. Do a hair mask
Every two weeks I do a hair mask to treat myself. You can buy one or easily make your own. Use 4 tablespoons coconut oil and one egg yolk, mix the ingredients together and put it on your hair for 30 minutes. Rinse it off and wash your hair the regular way!

6. Use argan oil
This is the best treatment for dry split ends and makes your hair shiny and smooth. You can put it in your damp hair and don`t need to rinse it off!

7. Eat healthy fats
Your body needs healthy fats, especially your hair, skin and nails.
Eat avocados, fruits, fish and nuts! This will help your hair grow faster... and healthier.

8. Braid your hair
Before you go to bed, braid your hair into two braids. You`ll wake up with beautiful locks in the morning and your hair won`t get damaged!

9. Get a regular trim
This won`t make your hair actually grow faster, but it will keep tips looking healthy and prevent splits from working their way up strands, requiring you to chop hair off more often! Every 12 to 14 weeks are enough.

10. It takes patience
But of course it also takes time, so... be patient! Hair grows only about a quarter of an inch to a half an inch max a month! (And that`s only if it is super healthy and doesn`t have split ends)
