"Write a list of five things that make you happy."

1. Writing. I'm at my best when a new story idea has come to mind and overtaken me. I spend days at my desk, typing away, eating or drinking only for necessity.

2. Music. Whether it be composing something new myself or simply appreciating someone else's music, I'm always content. I live for the feelings and the analysis in every piece, and the obsession every new song takes of me.

3. Figure skating. This is actually quite new. It's been a little over two months since I began, and I love it. I'm not a natural skater. I put in so much work just to be mediocre, but every time I get something new, the feeling is unmatched. I feel accomplished again. I love to dream about the programs I'll do in college and so on. It's a light at the end of the tunnel.

4. Comedy. Anything that makes me laugh makes me happy. I've spent hours on end watching vines and prank vlogs and ridiculous movies. I live for my friends roasting each other at the lunch table. You can't hurt my feelings; you can only make me laugh.

5. Family. I don't spend much time with friends anymore as I've gotten older. I get along best with my family because I know that no distance can tear us apart. My best friends are my siblings and my cousin. My biggest support are my parents and aunts and grandmother. I couldn't do any of what I do without them.
