Hello everyone.

I intend to start writing articles on WHI, but I'm very insecure about my writing skills. For now, I got inspired by many people who are doing the "30 days writing challenge". I found this main article created by @themermaidwriter named "Starting the 30 days writing challenge | by themermaidwriter." and I think it's really beautiful and creative:

This is her collection of 30dwc

Now, without further ado, here is:

Day 1 - Explain the meaning of your name

My name is Andreea, but I prefer people calling me Andre, for short. The name comes from the masculine version "Andrew". The English form of the Greek name Andreas, which was derived from andreios, meaning "manly, masculine", a derivative of aner (= "man").

It basically means warrior and strength.

And from a subjective perspective, my mom picked this name for me, because a friend of her who was a neurologist had a daughter named Andrea, and my mom really liked the name.

For a very long time, I haven't seen myself living up to the meaning of the name, so I didn't like the meaning of it very much. But lately, I felt like this is something that keeps me going. Not necessarily my name or the meaning of it, but being strong in all sorts of unpredictable situations helps me a lot.
On this note, I hope that you are strong too. You can be whoever you want to be and do whatever you want to do. I believe in you.

Thank you so much for reading!
Have a lovely day.
