Hey Everyone! So, today for day 5 of my 30 day writing challenge, I am going to list my 5 favorite things about myself. This is kind of difficult for me. I don't want to feel like I'm obnoxious or anything, but I think that it is important to be positive about yourself and acknowledge your positives instead of dwelling on your negatives. Enjoy!

1. My eyes

Now I am not someone who has brilliantly colored eyes, but, nevertheless, I love my big, blue eyes. I have had someone tell me before that my eye color reminds them of the ocean during a storm. They are a navy/grey color with gold/yellow around the pupil. On some bright, sunny days, they turn a bright teal color. I personally love both colors that my eyes can be.

2. My laugh

I personally do not know if my laugh is annoying or not, but I love it. I love that my body can get so incredibly happy, that it just has to let some of the happy out in weird, joyful sounds. Once you meet me, it is not hard to figure out that I absolutely love to have a good laugh; it just makes you feel so whole and content with life.

3. My sense of humor

This kind of goes along with me loving my laugh. I absolutely love to tell jokes and puns and make people laugh until they cry. In my group of friends, I am the one notorious for making the lame "dad jokes". I love seeing and making other people smile and laugh at something that I said or did. I consider it one of the small pleasures in this life.

4. My intelligence

Now I do not want to sound like I am bragging, but I love my intelligence. I take pride in it to be honest. I do pretty good in school, and it truly is a blessing that I do not take for granted. I have always been known as the "nerd" or that girl in the class that always knows the answers. These don't bother me, actually. I think that intelligence is classic and sexy, and I love it.

5. My strength

quotes, grace, and fire image

In saying that I am proud of my strength, I do not mean physical strength. I mean emotional. I have been through a lot in my years on this earth, but through it all, I have come out stronger on the other side. I have been bullied. I have lost my best friend. I have self-harmed. But now I am victorious. I love myself now. I am unique and strong. There is no one else like me on this entire planet filled with 7 billion people. Through all this hardship, I have learned to love. I have learned that you don't need to take anything from anyone, but you also must have a kind, compassionate heart. Real strength lies within a kind heart. I'm not sure who wrote it, but I read a quote somewhere that said, " I love the woman that I became, because I fought to become her." I can relate to this quote on so many levels. I am proud of myself for making it through, and proving to myself that life can be amazing...
