We’re sitting on your bed, your favourite band is quietly playing in the background. Your window is open and we can hear a bunch of kids laughing as they’re running down the street. You’re eating the caramel popcorn that we bought at the market earlier this day. You ask me if I want some, but I can still taste the vanilla ice cream on my tongue. I remember how you chased the ice cream truck for me and how you laughed when I called you crazy. I don’t want to forget a second of this day, that is going to end way too fast. Our eyes meet and even though you might not think that at first, caramel and vanilla are a pretty good combination.
