1) Eat More Omega-3's

Salmon, herring, and tuna, flaxseed oil, walnuts and eggs are very high in Omega-3 fatty acids. They regulate your metabolism by reducing inflamation and balance blood sugar.

2) Drink Green Tea

It is full of antioxidants and includes catechin which boosts metabolism. Green tea is proven to increase your body's production of energy from digestion. To get a major effect, drink 5, 8 ounce cups of tea.

3) Don't Cut Your Calorie Intake

While this might seem like the most logical thing to do, it isn't. When you do this, your body thinks it's good and conserves energy by stopping the fat-burning process.

4) Eat Organic Foods

I know that not everyone can afford to eat all organic foods, because we all know that when you go to Whole Foods, the prices are inflated by like 200%. If you can afford this option, it is a good way to go, since the pesticides in non-organic foods will not be interfering with your thyroid.

5) Eat More protein

I'm pretty sure I've said this before, but protein-heavy foods keep you fuller for longer than other foods do, and it accelerates your metabolism rates.
