As someone who has struggled with their skin for a hot minute now, I have come to realise that I was not taking proper care of my skin before and after I work out!

MISTAKE 1 - GOING TO THE GYM WITH A DIRTY FACE
The first thing I make sure to do is clear off my skin of absolutely ANYTHING prior to my workout. As I mostly workout first thing in the morning, my face is usually full of moisturizers/serums that I have used the night before.

I use the Garnier PureActive Micellar water and gently apply to the whole surface of my face with a cotton pad.

MISTAKE 2 - NOT WASHING YOUR FACE ASAP
I make washing my face a priority within the first 30 minutes after I finish working out.

MISTAKE 3 - APPLYING MOISTURISER RIGHT AWAY
Don't apply anything to your face for another half an hour! Your natural oils from sweating will still be coming out as the body detoxifies itself during and after a workout. Leave it for a bit and then moisturise your face with something that suits your skin type.
