Hi! Various people have New Year's Resolutions to eat healthily and get fit. Are you keeping up with your resolutions? I hope you are. You have to eat clean to get fit. Exercising isn't just what makes someone have a healthy lifestyle and get a toned body. Many of the times when you get into a snacking mood, you can eat as much as you should in a meal. Here are 5 tips to stop cravings. Enjoy! (reading, not craving junk food)

1) Drink Water

I know I say this a lot, but I can't stress the importance of this. Sometimes when you feel hungry you are just thirsty. Water can fill you up. If you are hungry, try drinking some water. If that doesn't satisfy your hunger, then you are probably actually hungry. Add fruits or spices to your water if you dislike the taste of water.

2) Eat Regularly

This means do not go for long periods of time without eating. You will feel better when you are eating snacks in between meals. It might seem like you are eating more, because you are eating more times a day, rather than eating 3 times a day, but in large portions. When you are hungry for a while, then have access to food, your mind tells you to scarf down food to your liking. It doesn't think about how much it needs to feel full.

3) Brush Your Teeth

I guess this one might not work, but I mean if you hate brushign your teeth this will work. After eating, brush your teeth. That means if you want to eat again you will have to brush your teeth again after. Also, toothpaste makes everything taste bad...

4) Eat More Protein

Foods with protein just fills you up more, so you will have less desire to eat if you are full for a longer period of time. People that increase their protein intake by 25% have their cravings reduced by 60%.

5) Remove the Temptations

Yeah... That's self-explanatory. Just don't buy the junk food in the first place.
