The hardest part is trying to forget what we would never have forgotten. Those moments, those moments where we had unconsciously thought "I would always remember that". We try to move on to something else, but whatever happens, our memories will always come back, will always surface again, although we want to do the opposite, even though we regret it sometimes. And then, after trying so hard, we realize that the best thing to do to forget is not to think about it anymore, to let it sink, and to wake up one day not feeling the lack that was ruining our lives.
