I think in everyone's life there are times where we would like to mold our friends and relatives to our own expectations.

Expectations of what they should be like and what they should do......We then get disappointed when those expectations are not met.

These slights can then be used as precious jewels put away in our Pandora boxes to bring out as past grievances ....to proudly show...how we have been wronged.... when the situation presents itself.

How does one grow as a person when we dwell on past slights and hold our expectations of others more important than what we expect from ourselves?

Maybe we should concentrate on looking inward and open our Pandora boxes and let the past fly out filling the void with love, acceptance and forgiveness.

Thinking, out loud.
