Hello Peeps,

So here I am, back again with my Favourite Bible Verses series, but part 2. Feel free check out my 1st article down below:

Without further ado, let's get s t a r t e d....

1.

"The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." - Proverbs 18:10

This verse gives me life, comfort and protection. When the first time I saw this verse, I immediately fell in love with it. And I want to share with you guys briefly, my very own personal story about how powerful our Lord truly is.

It started out on a one fine sunny day, except.. it was during my pre-exam days, so my heart was a little bit stressed out and my emotions were all over the place. As usual, I was checking out bible verses on my instagram and came across a lovely verse from Proverbs, *"The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe."*The verse really brings comfort to my heart, and for some reasons... i kept repeating the verse continuously, verbally and inside my heart. Kept repeating, repeating and repeating it, and I had to stop at some point because I was about to go out to the supermarket. Walking along the same road and path as usual, out of the blue... a ceramic vase fell just right in front of me (i was walking along the QV officework lane, and a vase suddenly fell in front of me, if you live in melb..you'll prolly know where this is). If I walked just a little bit faster, the vase would have landed on my head... I was damn scared, I immediately ran and never used the QV officework path ever-since.

But what is the moral of the story? the message?... For disbelievers, you guys might think it may be a coincidence, or maybe I was just really lucky. However, as a follower of Christ, I really believe the power of the omnipresent God..always there with you, guiding you wherever you go. And never underestimate the power of prayer, even the little ones, if you pray with all your heart... you will receive what you ask, and sometimes in a very unexpected way.

"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us." - 1 John 5:14

2.

"Faith can move mountains." - Matthew 17:20

A very good analogy of this verse would be, even if we may not know the sun will rise tomorrow, but we have faith that the sun will glow and illuminate the world during the dawn.. we have a strong belief with full of confidence regarding the rise of the sun. Which applies to any other things you find difficult in life, if you have strong beliefs that you can do it and hopeful in every situation, you will achieve it.

Faith without actions = nothing.

3.

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

A very lovely verse regarding how big God's love is for us, not even His creations and circumstances.. whether it would be Angels, our future nor the present life, the mountains, the ocean, the wind..nothing can seperate His love for us.

4.

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." - James 1:2-4

Never think that all the trials your are facing right now will consume your hope and heart, never be discouraged just because you are experiencing something difficult in your life right now... because God never gives us burden beyond our capacity, and that He loves you so much..He always wanted the best for you, even if it means..the only way you could change is through God sending you life trials.

Life trials is never a bad thing, never let your heart be discouraged by making you feel that your life is bad nor sabotaging your future because of the trial you're facing right now. Always remember, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11 ... Through trials, we grow and mature, we become wiser, we learn from our past mistakes... so that we have morphed to be what God wants us to be, "so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

5.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." - Philippians 4:6

If you read my short story above, I have mentioned about how powerful a prayer can be.. so never, never, never, never give up on praying! "Pray continually.." - Thessalonians 5:17

Always pray about anything, pray with all your heart... and you will receive it! God is never deaf to our prayers, do not be discouraged if God is not answering your prayers, always seek Him with all your heart...

Joseph waited 13 years, Abraham waited 25 years, Moses waited 40 years, & Jesus waited 30 years... God's timing is always perfect , and a No for Him is, "I have something better for you." He is always good.

The power of prayer is repeated numerous times in the Bible, so never, never, never, never stop praying!

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."- Mark 11:24
"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." - Romans 12:12
"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."- 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful." - Colossians 4:2
