Hello everyone! Today I’m bringing you my favourite songs of January. This includes only the songs that were released this month, and there were quite a few of them. This month I added more than 100 new songs to my library, which I think is quite a good number. Anyways let’s get on with it. (This list contains only 12 of my favourite songs this month. If you want longer list of songs that were released this month, check out my new releases posts.)

Bruno Mars - Finesse (Remix) (feat. Cardi B)

This one is hands down one of the most famous songs
that was released this month. Everyone probably knows
it by now because it’s playing on every radio station.
Although it doesn’t have any particularly meaningful
lyrics, it is still a good jam and a great song to dance to.

Carrie Underwood – The Champion (feat. Ludacris)

This song is one of the best motivation songs ever. It’s not as widespread but it’s definitely worth a listen if you want to feel pumped.

Justin Timberlake – Supplies

Although his first released song ‘Filthy’ from the new album is more famous, this one still beats it for me personally. I think it really gives a taste of the album better than the first one and also it just kind of stuck with me.

Fall Out Boy – Wilson (Expensive Mistakes)

Thank god MANIA is finally here and with it comes my favourite song on the album. This song is very random, very relatable but also very danceable. If you’re something like me, you’ll like this song.

Troye Sivan – The Good Side

Onto the more sad songs, this song is really deep and feels very real. I really like this song because I feel like the lyrics, the acoustics, the sound effects and everything else gives a very realistic image and just by listening to this song you can feel the emotions the person is feeling. I would call this a real masterpiece.

Vance Joy – We’re Going Home

This song feels very nostalgic and it’s like it’s calling you to go home. It can be applied to many situations, whether you’re missing your friend, lover, family or a place.

The Chainsmokers – Sick Boy

The Chainsmokers made a huge makeover with their music. This song really shows this and honestly kind of reminds me of Twenty One Pilots. It’s very real and dark which is refreshing to see. It shows the real picture of our society and political situation.

Thirty Seconds to Mars – Dangerous Night

Tbh, I’m not quite sure what it is about this song that really attracted be to it but it just did. It’s very much poppy but but there is something about it that just makes you want to listen to it and sing along.

Keith Urban – Parallel Line

At first I didn’t have a high expectations when I found out about this song. But I must say that Keith Urban and this song really surprised me. It has all the usual elements of a love song but the wording and the lyrics made it stand out from other songs.

Drake – God’s Plan

The new Drake songs were a big surprise for everyone, me included. Now this song stood out because of how easy it is to understand it and to relate to it.

Mike Shinoda – Over Again

This song is so special it deserves its own list. It is very emotional and raw. Mike Shinoda (member of Linkin Park) tells the story of what happened after the passing of a member Chester Bennington. If you are familiar with the band, this song will really let you understand the story through the eyes of the band and I would really recommend it not to just the fans of the band but anyone as the song is very versatile and can be applied to many situations.

X Ambassadors – Joyful

After the sad and very emotional previous song, this one is going to cheer you up a bit. It is a song to encourage joy and happiness which I think is always a good message to send to the world.
