Hey everyone! Its been awhile since I've written an article but I thought this would be a good topic since I'm going through it right now. Break ups really suck, not gonna lie but everything happens for a reason. So recently, I broke up with my boyfriend and the first week was probably the worst for me but I promise you, it gets so much better from here on out. Here are a few tips for those of you going through a break up.

1. DO NOT TEXT HIM/HER!
After breaking up the first thing you want to do is text and talk to them because you miss the feeling but you have to avoid it at all costs. This probably took me the longest time to get accustomed to. It's really hard to stop talking to someone that used to be there for you 24/7 but texting them just hurts the process of moving on.

2. Delete Social Media
Honestly, nowadays Social Media makes dealing with break ups a thousand times harder. You can check instagram, snapchat, etc and see what they're doing at any moment of the day. It's so hard not to check but deleting the apps will be so helpful. It's not healthy to check their social media everyday because it's just a reminder of all the pain you went through.

3. Keep Busy!
I can not tell you enough how crucial this step is. You can stay home and cry for a day and eat all the cookie dough you want, but you can't do that forever. Go out with friends, get a job, go to the gym, set a goal for yourself. This is a time to reflect and better yourself. Keeping busy will help you relieve the pain faster and help you think on more important things.
