Okay so I love snacking during the day. Since I'm living a healthy lifestyle my snacks are pretty healthy too. I decided I'm gonna share some of my fav snacks I snack on during day.

Rice cakes & different spreads

Lately I've been in love with this rice cakes that are some kind of a mix of rice. amaranth and flax seeds I think (not sure) and then I usually put some kind of a spread on. I use hummus (spicy, curry or other versions I can find in my local store) or a veggie&fruit spread I buy in my local store and someties peanut butter. My point: you can put on any spread you want to, but for a healthy snack try to stick to healthy spread options. ;)

Popcorn

This has honestly been an obsession of mine and my friend. We make popcorn all the time. Popcorn can be low in calories, heart-smart, and surprisingly chock-full of healthy nutrients if you just prepare it in the right way. Me and my friend used to just air-pop it but now we add some coconut oil and a pinch of pink salt to it for more flavour (we also add loads of cinnamon 'cause we both love love lovee it!). You can obviously add any type of spices you want.
My latest obsession: adding some peanuts to popcorn for more flavour.

Fruit

Choose any fruit you like. I usually eat an apple, I slice it and sprinkle cinnamon on top or I sometimes even add peanut butter to it, or just any type of nuts. I occasionally snack on mango, pineapple or melon. Well anything I have on hand really. :) Just don't eat too much of fruit or you'll consume too much sugar at once.

Banana chips

This is a healthier alternative to chips I believe but just make sure you don't eat too much of it. Remember that it's including a big portion of sugar. I usually snack on it before I go to the gym so it gives me a lot of energy. :)

Cottage cheese with banana

Cottage cheese is full of good protein. I usually buy the light one and since I don't like the plain taste of it I mix it with banana. Sometimes just with a fork (if I'm really lazy) and usually with a mixer.
