Dear The Boy Next Door,

I got my period today, and I was getting really bad cramps. I remember getting all twisted up in my seat today because it hurt so much. I even lost some feeling in my legs, like a numbness. You saw me and asked me why I was acting like that.

"It's nothing. I'm just having some cramps." I told you. I thought I saw a shine of worry in your eyes, but I wasn't too sure because you left right after.

I sat there for the next 20 minutes, very uncomfortably to the matter of fact. And then I saw you come back. You held a small grocery bag and set it down in front of me. You told me, "I got you this stuff. I'm not really sure how everything works so I just went online and like did some research," You said scratching your head.

Opening the bag I found a bottle of water, tampons, dark chocolate, and some pills for the cramps. I couldn't get over the fact that you actually left school just to buy me some things for my period.

I told you my thanks, and you said, "It's what friends do, right?"

"Yeah." I said.

I know now that when I thought I saw some worry in your eyes I had been right. You care about me, and that day. I hadn't stopped smiling.

Love, Me
