"Be as picky with your men as you are with your selfies"

I have to admit. I'm super picky when it comes to being in a relationship. There are just too many turn-ons and turn-offs with guys. I thought I would share what exactly I would look for in a guy.

Something very important to me is that I feel safe when I'm with my boyfriend. I obviously wouldn't treat him like he was a bodyguard or something, but I deserve a guy who makes me feel precious, I expect him to make me feel safe, and he won't pressure me into doing anything I don't want to do.

I would love a guy who can make me laugh because that makes me feel happy around him. Guys who aren't funny and don't have a sense of humor, seem boring to me. And I definitely do not want to be in a boring relationship. Every moment spent with him should be precious.

Good Hygiene
I DO NOT want to date a guy with dirty hair, smelly odors, old, nasty clothes, and dirty hands. I'm not saying he should look like Chuck Bass all of the time, but having bad hygiene says a lot about you. It makes you look like you don't care.

Something I really want in a guy is having a romantic eye. It would be so sweet for him to set up a picnic in the park for us, a bike ride, a fancy dinner every now and then, anything sweet or romantic. No matter how cheesy it is.

I do not want to date a guy who makes fun of other people, who doesn't respect other people's well beings and doesn't treat everyone nicely. He must be nice to everyone and everything, including me.

I want to date a guy who will hold the door for me, who will not act like a fool, and who will not treat me like a piece of property. He will show respect to me and others, as I do to everyone else.
