I'm going to talk a little bit about why I picked that movie, the synopsis, and the ratings and all that shnazz. Today is my favourite movie. The Breakfast Club.

(Oh, also, I've seen people that put a quote at the start or end of each article and I thought I'd give it a try.)

My Thoughts

The Breakfast Club, movie, and 80s image

Honestly I could go on about this movie for hours. I love it. It's about stereotypes and why we have them. Are any of them even true? What would happen if we break them? Can we break them? It almost seems nice until realize we never know what happens. Do they go back to their lives and ignore each other? Or do they take a leap of faith and see what happens? So many questions that will never be answered. And that's the beauty of it. You're forced to make up an ending. The opening quote is perfect. It sums up the movie and by the end, you're thinking back to it. Speaking of a perfect quote, the end scene. Don't You (Forget About Me) is equally beautiful and tragic. It encapsulates the feeling of "what happens now?" perfectly. I'll stop myself here because I'll just just keep going on forever.

"...and these children that you spit on,
as they try to change their worlds are
immune to your consultations. They're
quite aware of what they're going through...
- David Bowie"
