isn't it sad watching so many people hate themselves? hating themselves for the mistakes that they made, hating themselves for the way that they look, hating themselves for just being the way they are... As 2018 approached a lot of people said that their new goal for this year is to learn how to love themselves. It's a long process, that takes a lot of time and this is why a lot of people give up straight away without even trying.

Here are some tips to help you along the way:

1. Throwing negative people away.
Surround yourself with positive souls only. Make sure you're around people who do not bring you down and make sure you're around people who always have your back when you need them to.

2. Remember that every human being makes mistakes.
If you keep on blaming yourself for the mistakes that you have made in the past, you won't go far. The only time you should look back is to check how far you came.

3. Accepting your flaws.
No ones perfect. Even though sometimes it does seem like it, it's not true. You have to stop comparing yourself to others. No one is you and that is your power.Use it against the world.

4. Do something- just for you.
Do whatever brings you joy. It could be anything, from going shopping on your own,reading a book, writing an article, listening to an old playlist that you used to love etc.

5. Exercise regularly and drink a lot of water
Being physically active will make your body release more endorphins ( chemicals in your body that make you feel good). Another benefit from exercising regularly is getting in shape, and this will make you feel better about yourself when you see the results.
Now I know that drinking 2 litres of water a day may seem difficult, but water is really important. It detoxifies your body, improves blood circulation, flushes out the toxins from your body, improves your mood, helps you lose weight and so on.
