So my dear hearters, here's part two of my book challenge :)
I thought, it would become a bit too long, if it was just one part.
I hope you enjoy it.

16) Favourite Female Character:

  • Sky (Finding Sky - Joss Stirling)
  • Hel (Feenlicht - Jenny-Mai Nuyen)

17) Favourite Quote From Your Favourite Book:
“For life be, after all, only a waitin' for somethin' else than what we're doin'; and death be all that we can rightly depend on.”
― Bram Stoker, Dracula

18) A Book That Disappointed You:
Eona - Alison Goodman
I read the blurb and loved the content, but somehow I couldn't find any access to this book and found it hard to read... This is very subjective, so maybe you should try it yourself and make your own opinion.

19) Favourite Book Turned Into A Movie:
Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter

20) Favourite Romance Book:
Die for me series - Amy Plum

21) First Novel You Remember Reading:
Feenlicht (approximate translation: fairy light) - Jenny-Mai Nuyen

22) A Book That Makes You Cry:
I don't cry that easily while reading... But in Duma Key (by Stephen King) is a scene, where the agonizing death of a dog is depicted and his owner, a young girl, witnesses it. I always get very sad in that scene...

23) A Book You Wanted To Read For A Long Time But Still Haven't:
The Name of the Rose - Umberto Eco
(Another Artikle about books I want to read will follow)

24) A Book That You Wish More People Would've Read:
Feenlicht (usually nobody knows it, even though it's pretty good.)

25) A Character Who You Can Relate To The Most:
Helen (Starcrossed - Josephine Angelini): I am shy, and was even more when I was younger. I didn't want to be noticed so I used to walk around with a hunched back to appear smaller and less conspicuous. But with my friends, I could (and still can) calm down and be just myself.

26) A Book That Changed Your Opinion About Something:
Black Out - Andreas Eschbach
Computer Chips connected to the human brain might sound interesting, innovative or just cool to some people, but after having read Andreas Eschbach's series, I feel a little different.

27) The Most Surprising Plot Twist Or Ending:
I read the series "Das Erbe der Macht" (the heritage of power) by Andreas Suchanek and there is an amazing plot twist. But since I don't want to spoil, I'll leave it up to you to find it out ;)

28) Favourite Title Of A Book:
I like many sorts of titles. On the one hand, I love Stephen King's short titles, like: It, Carrie, Misery (Sie in German) etc.. But on the other hand I also like more creative ones, for example "Dämonen des Lichts" (english title: Angel burn / translation: demons of light), which is interesting because of it's antithetic structure.

29) A Book Everyone Hated But You Liked:
In 8th or 9th grade, we had to read Götz von Berlichingen (by Goethe) in class and even though it didn't become one of my favourite books, I couldn't understand the others' hate.

30) Your Favourite Book Of All Time:
My favourite books (I can't just pick one ;'D) are the Harry Potter series, House of Night and Dracula.
