Here are some tips on maintaining healthy skin ♡


DRINK PLENTY OF WATER

Water is the solution to everything isn't it ? Weight loss, strengthen of digestive system, healthy skin...It is very important. You should be drinking 2L of water every day is which is about 8 cups. If you have hard time keeping track, there are apps to help. I drink about 2.5-3L a day.

EAT FOOD WITH ANTIOXIDANTS

Cranberry, blueberry, pomegranate, spinach, nuts, dark chocolate etc.

EAT FRUITS AND VEGETABLES

This a very important step towards healthy skin. What you eat makes a really big difference. Try to color up your plate as much as possible. Orange, red, blue, green...

CONSUME FOODS WITH VITAMINS, MINERALS & OMEGAS

Vitamin A,C,E...For Omega you can eat walnuts, olives, salmon, etc.

TRY TO AVOID ADDED SUGARS

Chocolate bars, sweets, candy, chips..all of these causes oily skin and wrinkles (in time). Try to reduce it as much as you can ! I know it's hard but to balance it you can drink more water.

LIMIT SUN EXPOSURE

To prevent skin cancer and health try to stay away from direct sunlight. Wear protective clothes, sunglasses, and most importantly sunscreen. Especially, form 10 a.m to 4 p.m.

CLEANSE REGULARLY & FACE MASKS

First of all, know your skin type. Buy products according to your skin. Cleanse regularly, but not too often. While watching a tv show, movie or youtube, basically when you're sitting down just put on a face mask. There are so much to choose from. For blackheads, acne, spots...If not, you can diy home masks - equally effective !

CLEAN MAKE-UP

Clean your make-up before going to bed. Be gentle. If it stays over night, it can cause wrinkles, oily skin, and acne.

EXFOLIATE

Exfoliate once or twice a week. This will remove top layer dead skin and reveal the fresh new one below. Don't be too harsh, it can damage your skin !

MOISTURIZE

This step doesn't seem too important but it really makes a huge difference. Buy a moisturiser according to your skin type. Some of them can make an oily skin even more oily. Use it regularly.

RELAX

Stress can cause acne and breakouts through the skin. Smoking damages your skin & causes wrinkles. It also ages skin very fast. Make sure you get enough sleep !
