Hi sweeties!

It's Chiara here and today I want to tell you about some beautiful italian cities that maybe you've never heard of!

Let's start ;)

  • Matera, Basilicata

In Matera you’ll spend a lot of time in caves. You’ll sleep in a cave, eat in a cave, drink an aperitivo in a cave, and even view modern sculpture in a cave. The ancient neighbourhoods, known as sassi, are a series of grottoes carved out of limestone, teetering on the edge of a ravine. It’s one of the most unique and spectacular places I’ve visited.

  • Grotta della poesia, Puglia

Grotta della Poesia, near the town of Roca Vecchia, Puglia (Apulia), Italy. It was a karst cave whose roof had collapsed and is now an open salt water pool.

  • Cefalù, Sicilia

Cefalù is notable for beautiful sunsets, unpretentious charm, and a very appealing blend of ingredients for an Italian seaside holiday.

  • Braies Lake, Trentino-Alto Adige

The Pragser Wildsee, or Lake Braies (Lago di Braies) is a lake in the Prags Dolomites in South Tyrol.

  • Cinque Terre, Liguria

You’ve heard of the Cinque Terre, those five Italian fishing villages that tourists often hike through one at a time.

  • The sea of Sardinia

this is about the sea of Sardinia, one of the most beautiful sea I've ever seen!
Situated in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, Sardinia is one of the most popular destinations for people who love aquatic sports and seaside holidays, not only for its natural beauty and geographical position but also for its history.

I have mentioned a few places and of course it's just a hint of the wonders of this country.
I did not want to talk about the most famous cities because you already know them (Rome, Venice, Naples, Florence and Pisa for example) and also to show you that Italy hides many wonderful places, not known as they deserve sometimes.

Hope you enjoy this article!
